Industrial / AD Fire Training

Or-OSHA requires anyone working in Forest Activity be training in wildland fire suppression.   Oregon Department of Forestry requires that anyone working on an ODF managed fire (including IRA agreements and/or extended attack fires on private land) be trained in the use of fire shelters.  Eastern Lane ODF will be offering this class every Friday morning in May starting at 8:00 (you only need to attend one).  This class involves watching a few videos and practicing the deployment of a fire shelter.  The link below is an option to watch the videos and take their associated quizzes online, in your own time.  You would then only need to come in to one of the scheduled trainings to demonstrate deploying a fire shelter and to receive your certification card.   Call 541-726-3588 to register for a class
